Q: What exactly is live wedding painting?

A: Live wedding painting is a unique artistic service where an artist paints a scene from your wedding in real-time. The artist captures the ambiance, emotions, and key moments, providing you with a live, visual representation of your special day.

Q: Do you travel?

A: Yes! My packages include travel within the Dallas area. Travel/Lodging fees may apply to all other locations.

Q: How does the process work?

  1. A: Select the package you would like to move forward with, and Love a Slow Burn will send over a digital agreement to sign. A deposit of 25% is required to secure your wedding date. The rest is split into 3 payments with the final due two weeks before your wedding day.

  2. We will discuss your selection and vision for your piece.

  3. The artist will reach out to your wedding planner or venue coordinator to set up the rest of the wedding day plans.

  4. On the wedding day, the artist will arrive at the church/venue 1-3 hours before the ceremony to start preparing for the painting.

  5. The artist will begin capturing the chosen moment or scene as it unfolds, incorporating the venue, decorations, and the couple. Guests are welcome to observe the artist at work.

  6. Once the painting is done, the artist will take the painting back for additional studio touch ups. The final piece will be hand delivered or shipped to the couple.

Q: Can we choose what scene or moment to paint?

A: Absolutely! Before the wedding, we'll discuss your preferences and any specific moments you'd like to be highlighted in the painting. Whether it's the ceremony, first dance, or a candid moment, the artwork is tailored to your vision.

Q: Is there anything you need during the wedding day?

A: Just access to an outlet for my lamp and a source of water for painting.

Q: How long does it take to complete the live wedding painting?

A: It usually takes approximately 5-8 hours to complete. At the end of the celebration, the painting will be mostly complete and the artist will finish touch ups in studio.

Q: What size is the painting, and how is it delivered?

A: The size of the painting can vary based on your preference, but generally the sizes are 18x24, 20x30, or 24x36. After completion, the artwork is carefully packaged and delivered to your specified address.
